The instructor recommended “Distributed Systems, 3rd ed” by Tannenbaum and Van Steen as the textbook. It is legally available for free. The instructor also introduced the grading scheme and other resources. It is worth noting that programming assignments and exams (one midterm and one final exam) contribute heavily towards the final grade. Please note that no laptop/device use is allowed during the class. |
