СЛУХАТИ, ЧУТИ, РОЗУМІТИ: УСНА ІСТОРІЯ УКРАЇНИ ХХ–ХХІ СТОЛІТЬ = LISTENING, HEARING, UNDERSTANDING: AN ORAL HISTORY OF UKRAINE IN THE TWENTIETH AND TWENTY-FIRST CENTURIES

Abstract

У збірнику наукових статей представлено роботи українських та зарубіжних фахівців, які працюють у напрямі усної історії чи з використанням її методів. Статті присвячено різним аспектам історії України ХХ–ХХІ століть, зокрема нещодавнім та поточним подіям: Революції Гідності та російсько-українській війні. Розвідки стосуються багатьох актуальних питань сучасної методології та практики усноісторичного дослідження, а також проблем політизації тематичного спектра усноісторичних досліджень, співвідношення політичної заангажованості, наукової етики та академічної відповідальності, питань конфліктів та взаємодій між усною історією і пам’яттю, колективними уявленнями і академічними дискурсами. Окрему увагу приділено рефлексіям щодо застосування методології усної історії для аналізу кризових та переломних періодів історії, їхніх поточних наслідків тощо. = The present collection features articles by Ukrainian and foreign scholars who are working in the field of oral history or are using its methods. The authors examine various aspects of Ukrainian history in the twentieth and twenty-first centuries, particularly recent and current events: the Revolution of Dignity and the Russo–Ukrainian War. They investigate many current questions relating to contemporary methodology and the practices of oral history research, as well as problems connected with the politicization of the thematic spectrum of oral history research, the correlation between political engagement, scholarly ethics, and academic responsibility, and conflicts and interactions between oral history and memory and between community perceptions and academic discourses. The articles also explore the application of oral history methodology for the analysis of critical periods in history, their current consequences, etc.
